THESE RULES ARE IN ADDITION TO THE PROBOARDS TERMS OF SERVICE AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES THAT YOU AGREED TO WHEN YOU JOINED THE FORUM!
Adam Richman Forum Guidelines
1. Respect for fellow members. We are free to disagree with each other, and are all entitled to our own points of view, but please keep things civil and refrain from making personal attacks. This means against any administrator, moderator or other members. We can have healthy discussion, and even mild debate, without it getting 'personal'. Any even remotely racial or sexist statements targeted at anyone or anything will be removed and the poster given one warning before being banned. If you feel you're having a problem with someone harassing you please contact the admin. But keep in mind that we are not babysitters - if you do experience problems with individuals, we ask that first you work out the issues between yourselves privately. You can also choose to ignore that user. The admins cannot be responsible for the behavior of each and every individual. We will do our best to moderate between people, but we ask that everyone take some responsibility for their own behavior.
2. This is a PG-13 forum that allows membership for people under the age of 18. Administrators/Moderators reserve the right to review and remove any content of adult, sexual or otherwise objectionable nature without notice or warning. This includes photos, videos, graphics, artworks, and fan fiction.
3. Out of respect for Adam, no speculation about his personal life will be allowed. Commenting on any public statement made by Adam about his life is not considered speculating, but it is a line easily blurred and the admins do reserve the right to review threads and moderate them if they feel they cross the guidelines set about Adam's personal life. By the same token, we will not allow the posting of any paparazzi images, whether they be taken with or without Adam's knowledge.
Administrators/Moderators reserve the right to review and remove any content that is objectionable nature without notice or warning. This includes photos, videos, graphics, artworks, and fan fiction.
4. When starting threads please take a moment to ensure that you are in the correct forum and there are no existing threads about that topic. The admins reserve the right to move/merge threads at any time. When replying, have respect for the thread starter and remain on topic.
5. Posting styles. We all have our own ways of communicating, but out of consideration for fellow members we ask that you refrain from using “chatspeak” posting in all caps or using excessive exclamation points (it comes across as shouting). Abbreviations, slang and colloquialisms are fine, but please keep in mind that we have visitors who may not have English as a first language, and use them in moderation.
6. No usernames containing Adam’s name in any form will be allowed. This is out of respect to Adam Richman and his family and is partially to avoid any potential confusion between similar names, and also because we believe that your username should be a reflection of YOU. If you choose a name that flouts this rule, you will be warned once, then if you do not choose another name in a reasonable period of time, we’ll choose one for you. We also recommend against usernames containing identifying details, such as your surname. Thank you.
7. Any creative works posted in this forum remain the property of their original owners. DO NOT repost elsewhere without their express permission and DO NOT claim as your own anything that does not belong to you. If reposting graphics, ensure that you first upload them to your own server and do not "hotlink" to the original image.
8. NO political or religious discussion. Period.
